News coverage this week has been high
It’s been an excellent week in the UK for media coverage of the nastiness and awful reality of puppy farming. There’s a really strong growth of awareness now, which hopefully will make life harder and harder for the people that see dog breeding as a profitable business. Here’s a piece in one of today’s newspapers.
Plight of the poor puppies bred in cramped and dirty battery farms
I’m hoping this coverage will also make people think twice about buying a puppy for Christmas as so many of those bought are from terrible battery farm conditions. Few decent breeders would let their puppies go to new homes at Christmas.
Hear, hear. We too were pleased with the coverage particularly with the run up to Christmas.
Have a super Saturday.
Best wishes Molly
Good to see this getting in the news especially at Christmas – hope it will remind people what to look for when seeking a puppy – woofs and licks from Magic xx
That’s so great. It’s crazy that there is still a need to raise awareness of something like this, but I’m glad to hear that word is getting out there!
