Spring has sprung
It’s been a beautiful day here in Surrey, until the sun dipped down it was definitely warm and we made the most of it with a leisurely walk in the park and fields with the girls.
First we bumped into the 4 o’clock gang in the park, the sunshine had brought us all out. Little Mitzy (above) is one of Susie-Belle’s favourite pals. She arrived in her forever home around the same time as Susie-B came to us and I think they have a certain understanding and affinity for one another having both been through the traumas of life waiting for their turn of enjoying some happiness in peaceful, loving homes.
Leaving the park, we headed over to the fields, enjoying the fading rays of sunshine. We do this walk a lot and Susie-Belle is clearly beginning to feel much more confident with the familiarity of this route. She stops and savours all the aromas left by the days dogs – it’s a very popular doggy place.
As well as enjoying our afternoon walk, we’ve been buying a new camera, camping gear, and looking at campsites online. The year is shaping up beautifully – rather like Susie-Belle’s figure 🙂
