What do we do on a bad-back day?

Oh well, at least the girls had more of my time and attention today than originally expected. So, what better thing to do with a back that seems to be in spasm than give them both a bath and clip? I do worry about my lack of common sense at times, really I do. Bending over and twisting around has done it no good at all, but the girls look great!
Susie-Belle was a poppety poppet and let me clip away and tidy up her face without even a hint of complaint, as did Renae, although she tends to wriggle a little more than her sister.
I then decided to see if I could get some arty-farty close-up photos, being inspired by various fantastic doggy photos doing the rounds on the net at the moment. My meagre attempts are poor imitations, but I’ve had fun playing this afternoon.
Two from my my nose collection:
And here’s my girls beautiful eyes, well one eye each:
I don’t think I’ll give up the day job and head into the artistic world of dog photography, but I will keep wasting the odd afternoon playing around with my camera and my willing models, it’s at least taken my mind off how annoying my back currently is.
You were very adventurous washing and clipping on a bad back day! But they say that lying still resting is not great either!! Hope it’s feeling better soon.
I think your artsy-fartsy shots are great!
