“Fit as a butcher’s dog”

Now I understand this expression, access to raw bones and fresh raw meat must keep any dog fit and healthy. Yesterday Michel paid a visit to the butcher, the girls will be happy for many meals now.

The lamb rib loin thingys look unappealing to me, but they adore them and when portioned up, make a very neat sized meal for a hungry mini schnauzer.
