Secretly pleased……
It’s Halloween and we’re all a little bit pleased that we are here, hiding out in the middle of the French countryside, miles from anywhere, miles from any children that might think about knock, knock, knocking on our door when it gets dark. We know that sounds mean and miserable, but the barking that a night of guard duty would involve would be ear splitting and tiresome. Nope, much nicer to be hidden in the dark of rural France.
