The Grey Muzzle Organization
It’s no secret that I champion the adoption of older dogs. I do it wholeheartedly not only for the sake of the oldies who need to find new homes, but, for the impact it will have on the puppy breeding industry. If people can be encouraged to see the charm and suitability of adopting mature dogs, puppies will become less desirable, the market less lucrative. I have a few writing projects in the pipeline that will develop this in the coming months and I’m working with people and dogs that I have such admiration for, I can sometimes feel overwhelmed by the flowing inspiration. I need to channel it and get producing useful work.
So, I was delighted to accept a recent invitation from the American group, The Grey Muzzle Organization to write about my life with Susie-Belle and how she’s inspired me to campaign, and continues to do so.
