At last the sun’s shining
I don’t know where this week has gone, can’t believe it’s Sunday again. And Sunday has brought out the sun, at last it’s properly warm and sunny.
We’re gearing up here to get away to France mid week, so as the sun comes out here, we leave – I just peeped at the forecast where we’re going and it’s very hot, Thursday it’s saying is going to be 37degrees, yikes that’s going to be a shock for Susie-Belle.
We’ll be there for a full fat gorgeous month. The first time I’ve been away that long, although Renae did 6 weeks there last summer with Michel whilst I flew back and forth for work. I’m hoping we (I) don’t get bored, I’m not used to having so much time stretching ahead with no commitments.
I really shouldn’t be bored though as I’m in training though for a mega-swim event at the end of September when I’ll be swimming 10km in a cold river in Devon and right now I’m nowhere near fit enough, so this is where we’ll be going each morning:
I’m determined Susie-Belle will repeat her swimming adventures with me, especially if it’s going to be hot, and I’d really like to hope that after 4 weeks even Renae will be at least paddling.
