River loving schnauzers?
It’s a beautiful summer day here in England, warm sunshine with a light breeze. Perfect for river swimming however this is my last working day before we head to France, so the river will have to wait for a day or so. But to give you a taste of what we might be doing at the end of the week, this is Renae last summer when her curiosity got the better of her and she nearly headed into the river head first…

…before swiftly realising what was down the bank and pulling back up. She was not a fan of our river bank visits.
Unlike her sister Susie-Belle last month, who couldn’t wait to get in with me once she’d overcome her initial nerves, so much so she found she could walk on water, we always knew she was an angel………
Lovely , the water looks so inviting. Have a good Monday.
Best wishes Molly
Oh wow! I see a Micheal Phelps in the making. LOL.
Susie, that’s awesome. We are glad you love the river.

We are so glad the sun has come out now and we can enjoy some summer. I wouldn’t like to go swimming but I think my little Trilby has a taste for the water as she keeps trying to jump in the pond! Have a wonderful holiday in France – woofs and licks from Magic xx
That’s so great, and what a lovely river. Where are you going in France? We’ll be in Geneva starting next week, and sure we’ll spend time in France too…
We’re in SW France, enjoy your trip to Geneva Kirsten and thanks everyone 🙂
Oh that water does look quite nice

Susie-Belle I bet you had a great time! My Stevie loves a swim but before now has been very cautious of the sea as she’s so little and doesn’t like the waves… but! Yesterday the tide was out and she had a little paddle, then a wave got her and she just shook it off and went for a little swim in the shallows! What a brave girl!
Susie-B and Renae, have a pawesome time in France!! Make sure your humans let you enjoy a lick of that French cheese and wine. BOL! We know your humans will only give you the best organic-Provence grown veggies, fruits and free-range French meat! Take lots of photos of your adventures!

Oh your post so reminds me of what happened to Rubie on her walk today. We live next to a ravine…and in the winter the storm water run off gushes into the creek at the bottom….. at the moment there is a lot of water in the holding ponds and along the length of the creek. Rubie was exploring the edge of a DEEP water hole and lost footing and skidded into the water……. my husband pulled her out by her walking harness…while I tried to keep my cool. I think she liked it on reflection!!
A heart in mouth moment!
