Biscuits and bite-size buns

To make the fruit buns here’s the recipe:
1 apple, cored, sliced and minced
1/4 cup honey
1/2 cup water
1/2 teaspoon of cinnamon
1 cup rolled oats
1 tablespoon milled flaxseed (optional)
1.5 cups wholewheat flour
1/2 cup of dried cranberries (or a mixture of crandberries and dried chopped mango works well)
Heat the oven to 180C
Mix the apple with the honey, water, cinnamon and oats and thoroughly blend in the fruit and flour and flaxseed.
Roll into bite-size balls and place on a baking sheet. Bake for 30 minutes, turn off the oven and leave for a further 20 minutes.
These are chewy buns and ideal for a bedtime treat in our house.
bedtime treats? we think they qualify for all the time treats! bol! they look so yummy we want to eat the computer screen!

Hahaha, they’d love to eat them all day, their waistlines would too! SusieB is a bit of a chubster so its a bit of a battle trying to keep her from becoming chubbier and chubbier on a daily basis – in fact I know how she feels!
Rubie, you make sure mum gets baking, every schnau needs homemade buns & biscuits 🙂
