Trotters, trachea, snouts, ostrich and kangaroo
After reading about one of my favourite schnauzers, Atticus enjoying some trachea yesterday, I’ve been inspired to find some here in the UK for our little foodie to try. There is nothing she will miss out on, and if it’s good enough for Atticus, it’s certainly good enough for my girls.
The wonders of google produced a couple of suppliers and I’ve got rather carried away. The choice of not only trachea, but pigs trotters and snouts, various bits of dried ostrich (farmed in Germany apparently) and kangaroo as well as the girls’ favourite beef tripe was all too tempting to resist and I’ve got several tonnes arriving later in the week.
Well, it is Susie-Belle’s celebratory week after all, so I don’t feel too guilty, although I do feel a teeny bit squeemish.
Thanks for the link to Atticus’ blog – I knew about the book but didn’t know about his blog!
All those things sound super yummers – and I have also had dried lamb trachea from my food shop. I give them a four paws up….but I’ve yet to find foodables that I don’t like…..oh – not correct – I spat out a dried cranberry with dislike!
Happy to accept any tonnes of food you want to send my way!

Hahaha, would love to share the treats with you 🙂
Atticus was enjoying his trachea on his Facebook page the other day, very cute, he’s such an impressive schnauzer we love him.
