Brilliant video from Australia
This is an excellent video that brings home the reality of the kind of experience that Susie-Belle endured before she came to us. There are no graphic images, it’s just a clever, moving way of raising awareness of puppy farming. It did bring tears to my eyes to think how many 1000s of dogs around the world live out their lives for the commercial needs of mass breeders. I’d urge you to watch it and share it, it isn’t full of horrible images, it’s more moving in many ways because it isn’t.
Think you know where puppies come from? Adopt. Save lives. #puppyFarms v/ @AnimalsAus
Ohhh, Susie-Belle, thanks so much for posting about puppy mills. Me and Mom can’t watch any of that stuff, cause I remember to well and still hide sometimes, even after being in my furever home for four years. Mom just starts crying at all that stuff. Now Dad, he gets the four letter words going, then he starts making more calls to our state legislatures and lobbies hard against puppy mills and unregisitered breeders

It’s so hard to be reminded I know it’s made me tearful thinking of Susie-Belle like this, but on the other hand, the more people who are made to think and can share the knowledge of puppy farming, the more lives may get saved and one day, one day it may end….thank your wonderful mum and dad and keep enjoying your life to the full 🙂 xxx
Puppy mills are so awful I always thought they were a US issue and not a big problem abroad. Thanks for enlightening me

That made me very sad. I sometimes wonder if Georgia ran away from a place like that. Not exactly a puppy mill but a farm of some kind that breeds pigdogs. To your commenter before me, unfortunately, it IS a problem here too. Puppies and kitties are sold in a pet shop in my neighbourhood and no amount of bad press has stopped the woman doing it. We never go there and remind our local dog lovers not to as well. Thanks for sharing, Susie B.
🙁 So sad…
Excellent post, pal

I am crying so hard right now…that poor doggie mom’s face when they take that last single puppy from her…puppy mill owners should be locked in tiny cages and put on display
Why we can’t be rid of puppy mills once and for all is beyond me. Here is Missouri we’re considered the puppy mill capital of the country. Shameful.

Hey SB….. we can’t watch things like that …. it upsets mum WAY too much and she can’t sleep thinking about puppy mills as it is…..
A couple of nights ago there was a story shown on the news here of an Australian championship pedigree Collie breeder (many awards) who was running her respectable breeding kennels with no respect for her championship dogs…. we only just managed to watch because there was a happy ending when the authorities were alerted. Funny how peeps can forget their dawgs have feelings when they are getting a butt-load of money for the pups!!
