Delivery day
It’s been one of Susie-Belle’s favourite mornings, we had a BIG delivery of various dried animal bits and pieces. She sat patiently in the kitchen doorway whilst I unpacked dried trachea, stinky dried tripe and bull’s pizzles. I’ve ordered a lot as I want to take a good selection to France when we head there for four weeks at the end of July, I can’t have her getting bored with French cuisine now can I?
Because both her and Renae sat so beautifully and quietly, whilst the kitchen filled with aromas of tripe, trachea and penis (uuurrgghh) I let them have an assortment of a few tiny little scraps of everything. It must be like a child sitting in a sweet-shop and being given a little dish of chocolate chips and toffee for being good. It’s really the simple pleasures in life that make it special.
