Snowy weekend fun
It’s a really lovely snowy weekend here in the south of England, that is it’s lovely if you don’t have to do anything, don’t have to get around, work, have a cosy safe place to stay warm of course, which very fortunately we do. So we’ve been enjoying it, Susie-Belle has been amazing, she has allowed herself to embrace the fun of the white stuff in a way we have never seen before. Speaking with our schnauzer friends and seeing snowy pcitures of happy schnauzers across the web, we’ve come to the conclusion that although they don’t like rain, snow is a different matter, on the whole schnauzers seem to love it.
Renae and Susie-Belle are well equipped wrapped up in their warm, waterproof, fleecey lined coats (I rather fancy one myself).
Although the coats keep them toasty and dry, a pair of warm, lined boots would also be pretty handy to avoid the dreaded schnauzer snowball legs….
Renae loved rubbing herself in the snow, rolled her way round the field and ended up covered in snow
Susie-Belle had her moments of abandonment and joyful playfulness….
….but did seem a bit bewildered by Renae’s fullsome burrowing in the snow
and definitely seems to be asking her sister “why” here in this shot….
It’s steadily snowing still and there’s more forecast so it looks like we’ll be out and about in it for a few days yet. So long as they have a warm fire to come home to, I don’t think the girls are going to be complaining.
