The trip yesterday to the opthalmologist was a neutral affair, what I mean is her tear production levels are the same as 3 months ago – no better, no worse. Good news is they’re no worse but I’m a bit disappointed she’s not responding more strongly to the tacrolimus. So we’re now also going to use artifical tears in the hope this will (in the words of Mr Fraser, the eye-guy) “buy these corneas time”. So we’re going to keep doing what we’re doing, I’m mildly optimistic that the flax seed oil and viacutan will be working and is at least meaning we’re holding the line right now.
A week today, we’ll be heading down to South West France again for 3 weeks. Susie-Belle’s first sunny trip there, I’m hoping she’ll be enjoying the spring weather and walks. We’ll also be taking, for the first time, Rosie Cat, it’ll be quite an adventure for her in the car – all 12 hours of it. It’s a trial-run for the summer when we’re hoping to get a good stretch of time there, in which case Rosie will be with us. Hopefully she’ll behave herself and not tell us all how fed-up she is before we get down to Dover and have 600 miles driving ahead of us.
Day off tomorrow and I’ll put up photos from the weekend, but here’s one of my favourites from Sunday to be going along with.
