Busy, busy, busy
Just a quickie, more later but I’m feeling remiss at not updating the blog for a few days when we’ve been up to a few exciting things. For now a short round-up of what Susie-Belle has been doing during the last few busy days includes: a trial night out in our new tent after all day out in the garden helping us work out how to put it up (the night was a success, she loved schnuggling in with us); this followed a beautiful 3 hour walk in the spring sunshine on Saturday, including a paddle in the river (she’s sure to swim with me this summer, we’re certain of it); meeting up with Janet, her foster mum yesterday for another long walk in the sun with Susie-Belle’s foster sisters Monkey and Munchkin, plus our new friend, Darcie who, like Susie-Belle has had a terrible start in life as an breeding bitch in a puppy farm, but unlike SusieB hasn’t yet learned that living with humans can be fun and not scary. She’s a very frightened little girl still, but more on her later, she’s a poppet and deserves her own Susie-Belle post. And today, we’re heading up to Oxford for a check up with Susie-Belle’s ophthalmologist, we’re hoping for good news on the KCS but I’m a bit worried as I’ve had to use anti inflammatory eye drops recently as they’ve looked a bit sore some days. Will update here later when we know what Mr Fraser has to say. We have also been taking lots of photos in the sun so more on those over the next few days too. Better dash for now, long day ahead of us.
