A blowy camping weekend survived, no enjoyed!
Blustery was probably an understatement, it was blowing a howling gale the whole weekend, Saturday night was the worst. The tent flapping, the gusty blasts that threatened to rip everything out the ground in the middle of the night was all a little scary, we, the humans didn’t sleep well needless to say, but the girls were unfazed, although I have to say they are very sleepy and chilled this morning and haven’t moved far out of their beds yet today.
We were down in Hastings to meet up with other schnauzer owners for a walk on Sunday, but decided to make a weekend of it and were taken to Rye Harbour Nature Reserve on Saturday by local schnauzerer and brilliant amateur photographer Mike Jackson and his lovely wife Sharon. I’m hoping to pop up some of Mike’s gorgeous photos later on, you’re in for a treat, you really are, his photography is excellent.
Susie-Belle was so beautifully animated on the beach it was a complete joy to see her inhibitions fall away….or blow away….she was going up to Mike and his friends without fear or caution, it was amazing.
The whole weekend was chock-full of Susie-Belle highlights, so many to share. I’ve got to pop off and do some work now (annoying I know!) but will post more later today or tomorrow.
Dogs are so good at making you realise how you can enjoy anything the weather throws at you and find fun things to do wherever you are – looking forward to seeing more photos 🙂 Leigh & Magic xx
Brilliant photos – what happy dogs !!
Susie-Belle has come so far you would think she had been in a loving home all her life. Hats off to all your love and devotion and Renae’s guidance.
