    Sounds like a good day out anyway. Last visited Littlehampton over half a century ago as a child. Some of my ancestors are from that area but of course I didn’t know that then! Our dear Zeta (now over the Bridge) was a bit of a softie with pebbles. I always had to carry her if the beach got stony :-)Too far from any beaches here sadly.   4. You’re right Dougall – we haven’t seen any pebble beaches but mum says she saw a beach in Western Australia that had tiny teeny little shells – lots of them – that were a few feet deep on top of the sand.

    It looks like a great out anyway!!
